Prometheum Inc. has bolstered its blockchain securities infrastructure by registering Prometheum Coinery LLC as a digital transfer agent with the SEC and acquiring ProFinancial Inc., an SEC-registered broker-dealer. These moves enable end-to-end support for blockchain-based securities—from issuance to secondary market trading and settlement.
The expansion signals growing institutional interest in tokenized securities. Prometheum’s network now covers the full lifecycle of digital assets, positioning it as a key player in regulated blockchain finance. "Financial institutions are increasingly exploring how to issue and distribute," the company noted, hinting at broader adoption trends.
